Kad pie Reiņa lasīju par Panasonic GF1, man vēl nebija radusies tā sajūta, ka nu tik būs revolūcija. Tagad ir pagājis laiks un šī sajūta ir paguvusi sakrāt diezgan pamatīgu faktu un avotu krājumu, kuri visi kā viens apgalvo, ka ir sākusies jauna ēra foto kameru attīstībā.
Lai vieglāk saprast, kāpēc es par šo vēlos izteikties es atzīšos, ka šobrīd esmu Wired 5 Reasons to Ditch Your Digital SLR raksta iespaidā. Es nepiekrītu visam, kas tajā minēts, bet pamata doma ir neapgāžama – jaunās paaudzes (Olympus Pen un Lumix GF1) digitālajās fotokamerās ir milzīgs spēks un parastajiem lietotājiem un fotoamatieriem nav ne mazākās vajadzības no DSLR.
Īsumā – jaunās “EVIL” kameras (Electronic Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens) ir ienākušas tirgū un pierādījušas, ka pēc vairākiem parametriem spēj aizstāt milzīgās DSLR kameras, kuru iegāde uzreiz nenozīmē, ka cilvēks spēs fotografēt labāk kā ar parastu ziepīti.
Nedomāju, ka spēšu situāciju raksturot precīzāk kā šeit: Panasonic GF1 un citas tendences.
Ko tagad? Tagad patiešām gaidu, kad lielie vaļi (Nikon, Canon) sāks (ja sāks) piedāvāt savus jaunākos EVIL modeļus.

ja viņi EVF liks tikai kā papildus opciju par neprātīgu cenu, tad DSLR būs pagrūti aizstāt. Par kompaktunu nestrīdos, šī iemesla dēļ pats pat biju apsvēris domu par Oly vai Pana.
Vispār jau pat tā paša raksta komentāros ir norādes par to, kāpēc EVIL diez vai tuvākajā laikā DSLRus pārtrumpos. Jautājums, vai point and shoot lietotājiem ir VAJADZĪGS EVIL? DSLR lietotājiem nav, galu galā. Un man šķiet, ka ja P&S lietotājam vajag ko labāku par P&S, tad DSLR patlaban ir lētāks (un labāks) par EVIL.

“They’re small” — Indeed. But not truly pocketable except with fixed focal length pancake lenses. And while small is good for travel, it’s not really good for handling, particularly with longer lenses.
“They take great pictures” — No, they collect high quality image data. Photographers take great pictures (or not). These sensors do not quite match the low light performance of a good DSLR, but they’re a lot better than the small sensor compacts. Unfortunately, the finders aren’t so great in low light. The EVFs get noisy and the frame rate gets slow and choppy.
“You can change lenses” — True enough, but the selection of lenses designed for quick and compatible operation is very thin. The Micro Four-Thirds format has a wide array of adapters available that let you use almost any lens you’d like to. However, other than Four Thirds mount lenses that have more compatibility, the rest will need to be focused and have apertures adjusted manually.
“They’re Fast” — No, they’re not. The finders are useless when shooting in sequence mode. You see the first frame in the finder, the rest of the sequence you shoot blind. The frame rates are slow. Pansonic’s contrast-detect AF is respectably quick in single frame mode and even tracks a subject fairly well in good light. Olympus’s AF is slower than many small sensor compacts. If you’re into sports and action photography, get a DSLR.
“They don’t scream “Look at me” — Really? Have you seen the white Olympus E-P1? The red Panasonic G1? I got a lot more quizzical glances at my E-P1 with accessory finder than I ever get with a DSLR. My Panasonic G1 (in black) just looks like a very small DSLR. Micro Four Thirds camera’s aren’t rangefinder quiet. They have a focal plane shutter that has to close first, then make the exposure. They’re moderately quieter than a DSLR, but they’re far from stealth cameras.
I really like my Micro Four Thirds camera, but I’d still recommend a cheaper, faster compact DSLR to most people looking for a more serious camera

Jā, mantiņas foršas. Es arī parasti tagad pieminu, ka tādas pastāv, kad kāds prasa par dSLR. Lai gan dārgas vēl.
Bet par saīsinājumu EVIL gan nebiju informēts. ūbercool :)
Uzliec uz EVIL kameras zoom objektīvu un tu redzēsi cik viņa ir maza… vai nē. Protams, var jau uzlikt uz viņas 20mm pancake un domāt cik forši. Un tagad nobildē man putnu tai kokā. Vai, oops, viņš ir tik tālu, ka tu viņu nemaz neredzi. Nu labi, un šo ēku? Vai, oops, to tu nevari dabūt kadrā.
Galu galā, galvenais spēks SLR kamerās ir nevis kamerās, bet gan objektīvos. Sākot no wide angle un beidzot ar telephoto, ja tu gribi labas bildes stāvot tuvu un tālu, tev ir jāmaina objektīvi. No objektīva būs arī atkarīga tavas bildes kvalitāte. Man ir Zuiko 9-18mm wide angle, 14-45mm, 70-300mm telephoto, 50mm macro & portrait zoomi, EC-20 2x extensions un FL-36 flashs – salīdzinot ar to visu pati Olympus kamera aizņem niecīgu vietu. Ja vēl piemet klāt statīvu, vispār nav ko teikt.
Protams, ja EVIL kamera ar visu viewfinderi (Live View funkcija ir 95% gadījumu vienkārši nelietojama) kādu dienu maksās tikpat, cik DSLR kamera, un uzņems tikpat labas bildes, nav nekāda iemesla, kādēļ nepirkt tādu un neizmantot ierastos objektīvus.
Personīgi, par cik man ir Olympus sistēma, viss kas man ir vajadzīgs ir tikai viena pāreja un viss strādās perfekti, bet es varu iedomāties, kādēļ Canon vai Nikon lietotājiem šī šķiet kā blasfēmija.
